Israel's military said Hezbollah launched a missile at Israel, prompting air raid sirens in parts of the country.

The missile was intercepted, according to reports.

Hezbollah claimed to have targeted Israeli military infrastructure in Haifa, but it's unclear if this refers to the same attack.

Israel responded by striking 10 Hezbollah launchers that fired rockets towards northern Israel.

The tit-for-tat attacks come after Israel's heaviest bombardment of Lebanon, which killed over 300 people, and ahead of scheduled Iran–U.S. talks in Pakistan.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has called for peace talks with Lebanon, including disarming Hezbollah.

The conflict has resulted in over 1,900 deaths and displaced over 1 million people, according to Lebanese authorities.
