A senior Indian diplomat, Ambassador Sibi George, met with UNGA President Annalena Baerbock to discuss the global fight against terrorism and reformed multilateralism.
The meeting, which took place ahead of Baerbock's visit to India next week, also covered peace and security, development, and diverse other issues.
George also met with Acting Under-Secretary-General for Counter-Terrorism Alexandre Zouev to discuss India's strong cooperation with the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism.
India has been a key player in global counter-terrorism efforts, providing support to UNOCT capacity-building programs.
