Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri has arrived in Berlin for crucial consultations with German officials. The talks will cover key areas of cooperation, including trade, defence, technology, and green energy.
Misri's visit comes after Chancellor Fredrich Merz's successful trip to India in January 2026 and reflects the continued high-level exchanges between the two nations.
The India-Germany Foreign Office Consultations will be co-chaired by Misri and Géza Andreas von Geyr, State Secretary of the German Foreign Office.
The discussions will focus on diverse domains of bilateral cooperation, including trade and investments, defence and security, technology, green energy, development cooperation, education, and people-to-people ties.
Misri's visit provides an opportunity to review the full spectrum of the India-Germany Strategic Partnership, with a focus on advancing discussions across key pillars of the bilateral agenda.
