Zanzibar authorities have concluded that Miami-based lifestyle influencer Ashlee Jenae died by suicide after a reported dispute with her fiancé, Joe McCann. According to police, hotel staff intervened earlier in the day after the couple got into a disagreement and were separated into different rooms.
However, Ashlee's loved ones have rejected the suicide claim, with her close friend and PR executive Savannah Britt stating that Ashlee would 'never commit suicide.' Ashlee's family also expressed their shock and grief, saying that the 'unanswered questions' surrounding the case have made the loss harder to deal with.
