Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has ordered the military to cease firing after a two-week ceasefire agreement with the US, but warned that hostilities may resume.

According to a statement broadcast on state-run Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), Khamenei emphasized that the ceasefire does not signify the termination of the war.

The Supreme National Security Council also warned that Iran's hands remain on the trigger and that any slight error by the enemy will be met with full force.

The ceasefire framework calls for Israel and Hezbollah to halt fighting in Lebanon, but uncertainty persists over Iran's proposed 10-point plan for negotiations.
