Iran's military has vowed to target US and Israeli banking centres in West Asia following an attack on an Iranian bank, according to state media.
The Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters issued a statement identifying the targets, warning people in the region to stay 1,000 metres away from banks.
The threat raises concerns for regional financial hubs, particularly Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, which hosts a large number of international banks and financial institutions.
Iran has widened its military campaign across the Gulf, striking near Dubai International Airport and targeting commercial shipping across the Gulf, including a container ship in the Strait of Hormuz.
Regional defences were activated as Iranian drones and missiles were launched toward multiple Gulf states, with Kuwait downing eight Iranian drones and Saudi Arabia intercepting drones headed toward the kingdom's Shaybah oil field.
