Iran's foreign minister, Abbas Araghchi, expressed skepticism about the US's commitment to diplomacy after talks failed to take off in Islamabad.
Araghchi left Pakistan on Saturday without meeting US officials, and in a post on X, he said he had yet to see if the US was truly serious about diplomacy.
US President Donald Trump later canceled the trip of his representatives to Islamabad, saying 'too much time wasted on traveling, too much work!'
The first round of talks between Iran and the US in April 11 and 12 lasted over 20 hours but collapsed due to disagreements over Iran's nuclear programme.
