Moscow, Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi expressed his pleasure in engaging with Russian leadership, citing the region's 'major flux' amidst uncertainty over the second round of peace talks aimed at resolving the war in West Asia.

Araghchi met with President Vladimir Putin, who hailed the Iranian people for their bravery and heroism in fighting for their sovereignty.

The Iranian Foreign Minister praised the depth and strength of the strategic partnership between Iran and Russia, with Putin stating that Moscow is ready to do its best to bring peace to West Asia as soon as possible.

Araghchi's visit comes after a whirlwind trip to Islamabad, where he held 'good consultations' with Pakistan's Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir.

The talks between Putin and Araghchi were described as 'useful and constructive' by Foreign Minister Lavrov, with Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov stating that Russia is ready to provide any mediation services to bring about guaranteed peace.

The first round of peace talks between Iran and the US failed to produce a desired result, with the Iranian minister arriving in Islamabad for the second time after a short visit to Oman.
