Iran's Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) claimed to have successfully targeted a US F-18 fighter jet, releasing an alleged video proof. However, the US Central Command rejected the claim, stating no fighter jet had been shot down by Iran.
The incident occurred hours after Iran dismissed a US proposal to end the conflict, continuing to strike Israel and Gulf Arab countries. In response, the White House warned that US President Donald Trump would unleash severe consequences if Tehran fails to accept its defeat.
The US has planned to send at least 1,000 troops from the 82nd Airborne Division to the Middle East, along with 5,000 more Marines and thousands of sailors, to secure key areas and bases.
