Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has a message for the country's neighbours: if they want 'development' and 'security', they should not let the United States and Israel 'run' the war from their lands.

The warning comes as the war between Iran and the US has been ongoing for over a month, with several Gulf countries caught up in the conflict.

Tehran is retaliating against US attacks from military bases in the region, while the US is using these bases to launch strikes in Iran.

Pezeshkian wrote on X, 'I have said many times that Iran doesn't carry out preemptive attacks, but we will retaliate strongly if our infrastructure or economic centers are targeted.'

Pakistan has emerged as a key mediator between the US and Iran, with foreign ministers from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Turkey set to meet in Islamabad to discuss ways to end the conflict.
