Iran's foreign minister Abbas Araghchi has called the US Tomahawk missile strike on a school in Minab a 'calculated assault' and a 'crime against humanity'. The attack, which occurred on February 28, killed over 175 students and teachers.
Araghchi made the remarks at the United Nations Human Rights Council, stating that the US and Israel's advanced warfare technologies make it impossible for the strike to be a 'miscalculation'. He added that the attack 'demands unequivocal condemnation by all and unambiguous accountability for the culprits'.
The US initially claimed that the strike was a mistake due to outdated data, but Araghchi insisted that it was a 'deliberate and intentional' act. The attack remains one of the most devastating sights of the ongoing war, which has hit the one-month mark.
