Amid escalating tensions in West Asia, Iran has threatened to target multiple oil and gas facilities across the Gulf following an attack on its massive South Pars natural gas field.

The South Pars/ North Dome gas field, the world's largest natural gas field, is jointly owned by Qatar and Iran.

Iran has listed five locations for potential strikes, including the Samref Refinery in Saudi Arabia, the Al-Hasan Gas Field in the UAE, and the Ras Laffan Refinery in Qatar.

Qatar has blamed Israel for the attack on the gas field, calling it 'dangerous and irresponsible.'

The conflict has led to a series of airstrikes and attacks, with the US hitting Iranian missile sites near the Strait of Hormuz and Iran targeting commercial ships across the Persian Gulf.
