Iran's military has issued a warning that hotels housing US soldiers across the region will be targeted in its ongoing war with the United States and Israel.

According to armed forces spokesman Abolfazl Shekarchi, when US forces check into a hotel, 'that hotel becomes American' from Iran's perspective.

The warning comes after Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi accused US soldiers of using people in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries as 'human shields.'

Iran has sent 'firm warnings' to hotels in the region, particularly in the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, after identifying US forces using similar locations in Syria, Lebanon, and Djibouti.
