Iran's parliament speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, has warned US President Donald Trump that his actions will lead to a 'living hell' for the US and a burning region.
Ghalibaf made the statement in response to Trump's renewed threats of striking power plants and bridges in Iran if Tehran doesn't open the Strait of Hormuz and make a deal with the US to end the war.
Trump has given Iran a new deadline of Tuesday, 8 PM ET, to make a deal, or face devastating infrastructure attacks.
The US has been facing pressure from countries facing a fuel and gas crisis due to Iran's blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.
