Israel's military has established a 'Yellow Line' demarcation in southern Lebanon, mirroring a similar line in Gaza. The move comes as a ceasefire between Israel and Iran-backed Hezbollah takes effect.

The 'Yellow Line' separates Israeli forces from Hamas-held areas in Gaza and is now being used in Lebanon, with the military saying it has hit a 'terrorist cell' operating near its troops.

Since the ceasefire came into effect, the Lebanese territory has seen massive Israeli airstrikes and a ground invasion in the south, resulting in nearly 2,300 deaths and widespread devastation.

Lebanese authorities are pushing for direct negotiations with Israel to consolidate the ceasefire, secure the withdrawal of Israeli forces, and address border disputes.
