Joseph Duggar, a 31-year-old reality TV star from the TLC show '19 Kids and Counting,' was arrested on charges of molesting a 9-year-old girl during a 2022 vacation in Florida.
The Bay County Sheriff's Department confirmed that Duggar faces charges of 'lewd and lascivious' conduct with a minor and has apologized to the victim and her family.
Amid the arrest, speculation has risen that Duggar's wife, Kendra, may have known about the allegations, as their shared Instagram account stopped posting updates in November 2021, a few months after the incident occurred.
The account regularly posted updates on their family life prior to that, but since the last update, no new posts have been made, sparking speculation about a possible rift between the couple.
Duggar is currently in jail in Washington County, Arkansas, waiting to be deported to Florida for further investigation by the Bay County Sheriff's Department.
