Justin Fairfax's past remarks on Donald Trump have resurfaced following his tragic murder-suicide with estranged wife Cerina Fairfax at their Virginia home.
As Virginia's Lieutenant Governor from 2018 to 2022, Fairfax was known for his strong opinions on politics, including his views on African-American voters and his criticism of Trump.
In a 2020 social media post, Fairfax praised Black voters, saying they are 'very smart and powerful' and that Democrats need their support to win.
He also criticized Trump, writing on social media in 2017 that Americans were standing up to the Trump Administration and standing up for what's right.
Just days after midnight on April 16, Fairfax's teenage son dialed 911, and officers discovered the couple dead, with Fairfax shooting Cerina several times before taking his own life.
