Multiple people are likely to have been stabbed in Edinburgh, UK, after a man was seen brandishing two knives, the Daily Mail reported.
Armed police are present at the incident in Calder, west of the city, where a disturbance occurred near Edinburgh's Calder area.
Chief Inspector Scott Kennedy said officers were called to reports of a man with a bladed weapon on Calder Gardens around 8:25 am.
Two people were injured and taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment, and enquiries are ongoing.
The police assured that officers will remain in the area as enquiries continue and urged anyone with information to approach the concerned officers.
A local school is in lockdown and the community is on alert.
