Kristin Ramsey, a 53-year-old, has been arrested for the 2011 murder of real estate agent Ashley Okland in Iowa. She is being held in the Dallas County Jail with a bond amount set at $2 million.
According to investigators, Ramsey shot Okland when she was holding an open house at a townhome. An employee of Rottlund Homes had found her after hearing a disturbance and alerted the police.
Ashley Okland was 27 at the time and her death had remained unsolved for quite some time. Her brother, Josh Okland, had remembered her fondly, saying '14 years feels like a long time' since he last saw her.
Ramsey's photos have now surfaced, showing her with blonde hair and wearing an orange jumpsuit in one photo, and a dark jacket in another.
