An 'immediate dispersal' alert was issued for residents of Logan Township, New Jersey, after a car music festival near the Bridgeport Speedway turned chaotic.
The Logan County Police Department issued the alert at 3:47pm ET, asking residents to disperse the area immediately.
A massive police response was underway at the speedway, with multiple police and emergency vehicles at the scene.
The alert was lifted two hours later, but the cause of the incident remains unclear.
Locals reported seeing a large crowd gather near the McDonald's and Exit 10, with some speculating that the music festival was the cause of the chaos.
However, an incident at the Bridgeport Speedway on March 21 resulted in a driver, George Schweigart, being seriously injured after crashing into another car.
