Mel Schilling, a dating coach from the reality TV show Married at First Sight, has passed away at the age of 54, her husband announced on Instagram.
Schilling had been battling colon cancer, which had metastasized to her brain, and had shared her diagnosis with the public in December.
In a heartfelt statement, her husband Gareth described her as an 'incredible mum, role model, and soulmate' and said that in her final moments, she whispered a message to him and their daughter Maddie that will 'sustain me for the rest of my life.'
Schilling had become a part of the Mafs cast in 2016 and had also participated in the UK edition of the program, which is broadcast on E4.
