Meta Platforms is set for another round of layoffs, impacting up to 20% of its workforce, according to a report by Reuters.
The layoffs come as the company refocuses on artificial intelligence to compete with OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google.
Previous layoffs in March impacted Reality Labs, social media teams, and recruiting operations, with over 1,000 jobs lost.
Meta spokesperson said the company is finding alternative opportunities for affected employees.
