The Miami Gardens warehouse fire has been escalated to a four-alarm blaze, prompting the deployment of additional firefighting units.
The fire is raging at a six-story warehouse located at 20600 NW 47th Avenue, with firefighters from multiple departments on the scene working to contain the flames.
A public safety alert has been issued, urging residents with respiratory problems and medical conditions to shelter in place, and recommending that others stay indoors, close windows and doors, and recirculate ventilation systems.
The cause of the fire and any possible injuries have not yet been confirmed.
