Michael J. Fox is alive and well, a representative confirmed to TMZ after widespread death rumors sparked by a CNN article that was quickly removed from the website.
The Back to the Future star attended PaleyFest LA on Tuesday, appearing on stage and giving interviews, just one day before the CNN article titled "Remembering the life of actor Michael J. Fox" sparked confusion.
CNN has since issued a statement apologizing for the error, saying the package was published in error and has been removed from their platforms.
Michael J. Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1990 at age 29 and has been open about his struggles with the disease, founding The Michael J. Fox Foundation in 2000 to fund Parkinson’s research.
