The mother of University of Alabama student James Paul Gracey has made a heartfelt appeal for assistance in locating her son, who was reported missing in Spain.
According to Therese Gracey, James was last spotted by a friend at Shoko nightclub in Spain around 3am on Tuesday, and has since been reported as missing to the police in Barcelona.
His mother has described James as approximately 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 175 pounds, and wearing a gold chain with a rhinestone cross.
The police possess James' phone, but the implications of this for the probe remain uncertain.
The University of Alabama has issued a statement requesting assistance in locating James, and staff are in touch with the family to offer support and assistance.
