University of Alabama student James Paul Gracey, known as Jimmy, has gone missing in Barcelona, prompting his parents to issue an urgent plea. The 20-year-old was last seen outside a beachfront nightclub, Shoko, around 3 am on Tuesday.
Gracey, from Elmhurst, Illinois, was in Barcelona on Spring Break with friends studying abroad. He is described as 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 175 pounds, and was last seen wearing a white shirt, dark pants, and a gold rhinestone cross.
His mother, Therese Gracey, has shared updates on Facebook, including a photo of her son and a request for anyone with information to contact her or local authorities.
The University of Alabama has confirmed that Gracey is a student on a personal trip and is offering support to his family and friends.
