Jabari Brown, the American pilot who won a private jet in a MrBeast YouTube challenge, was detained in Paraguay after authorities seized over 261 kilos of marijuana from a private aircraft he was co-piloting.
He has since been released after prosecutors determined he had no involvement in the drug trafficking.
On Saturday, agents from Paraguay's National Anti-Drug Secretariat seized a private jet at Silvio Pettirossi International Airport, finding 261.6 kilos of high-THC marijuana hidden inside black bags.
Three American passengers, including Brown, were detained, and three others were later charged with international drug trafficking.
Brown, 21, was released after cooperating fully with authorities and claiming he had no knowledge of the marijuana.
He addressed the situation on his Instagram stories, saying he has come to learn that there are many evil and selfish people in the world who care about no one but themselves.
