An MS NOW anchor has sparked controversy by labeling Barron Trump, the youngest son of US President Donald Trump, as 'more spoiled than an English princess.'

The anchor's comments came after Barron Trump commemorated an extravagant birthday, prompting Lawrence O'Donnell to suggest that it would have been more commendable for him to join the army and fight in his father's war.

In contrast, Queen Elizabeth II worked as a driver and mechanic during World War II, highlighting the stark difference in their experiences.

Barron Trump is currently a sophomore at the Stern School of Business, studying at the Washington, D.C. campus, while his mother, First Lady Melania Trump, keeps a close eye on him to ensure his safety.

The anchor also questioned whether Barron Trump knows how to drive, suggesting that he may not be as tough as Princess Elizabeth, who joined the war effort at the age of 18.

O'Donnell urged the Trump family to join the military, citing Donald Trump's history of avoiding the Vietnam War draft.
