Several photos have been shared online, including one from the Houston Heights area showing a large cloud of smoke in the sky.
Another photo appears to show a possible chunk of meteor that reportedly fell into someone's house in Houston.
The incident comes days after an object was seen in the Dallas night sky, sparking buzz about a meteor.
