Months after Nancy Guthrie went missing, her family remains uncertain about her fate. Her daughter Savannah previously acknowledged that her mom may be dead, but still holds onto hope for a miracle. New notes sent to TMZ by a person claiming to have information about her whereabouts have sparked conflicting emotions, with one note claiming she is dead and another stating she was seen alive in Mexico.

The person, who has been offering to rat out the kidnappers for about two months, sent a first note demanding 1 bitcoin to deliver Nancy on a silver platter. However, they later sent a second letter saying they saw her alive in Sonora, Mexico. The FBI is not convinced that the notes are legitimate, as there has been no deposit into the related bitcoin address.

The person claims to have been out of the United States for over five years and has nothing to do with the crime. They insist that they are not motivated by greed and want to live peacefully with enough to start a new life. The case remains unsolved, and the Guthrie family continues to search for answers.
