Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the impact site in Arad after two Iranian missiles struck southern Israel, causing widespread damage and injuring at least 36 people.

Netanyahu urged international leaders to take action, saying 'Israel is fighting not only for itself, but for all of you.'

The missiles, which bypassed air defences, targeted residential areas, including an apartment block in Arad, where parts were destroyed and at least eight buildings were damaged.

At least 31 people were hospitalised in Arad, including 18 children, while five people were taken to hospital in nearby Dimona, including a 12-year-old boy in serious condition.

The attack has intensified concerns in areas close to key installations, including a nuclear reactor and major military bases.
