What happened in the Amazura, Queens shootingThe Amazura shooting took place in January 2025 in Queens. The nightclub is located at 91-12 144th Place, Jamaica. They were waiting to enter a private event when the shooting took place.A group of about 15 people were standing outside the Amazura nightclub at 11:15pm when four men on foot approached the group of 16-to-20-year-olds. The New York Police Department had confirmed at the time that three or four of them opened fire on the group that was outside the nightclub.Cops said that about thirty rounds were fired before the gunmen fled on foot and were later seen getting onto a sedan with out-of-state plates. Six females and four males were taken to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.No arrests have been made yet as per reports and a motive for the shooting is not known either.
