Update (7:32pm EDT): A witness told PIX11 News that he recorded the entire incident using his smart glasses. He said the person shot by police was a woman.“She ran by me at the corner and she had two knives in her hands,” the witness claimed. “She ran down, the cops went by, they surrounded her, talked to her for like five minutes.”The witness also said officers used a Taser on the woman. He claimed she then rushed toward the officers, after which police shot her.“They shot her twice,” the witness recalled. Sources said authorities do not believe the incident was terror-related.Update (5:36pm EDT): Police sources told FOX 5 NY that two people were reportedly stabbed before an Asian woman, who was identified as the alleged attacker, was confronted by NYPD officers.The woman is reportedly receiving CPR.
