Aliyah Henderson, 28, was arrested on murder charges after the bodies of two half-sisters were found in suitcases in Cleveland, Ohio.
The discovery was made after a dog walker reported a suspicious scent coming from a suitcase in a field near an all-boys public school.
Two suitcases were found with bodies partly buried in shallow graves, and preliminary DNA testing showed the victims to be half-sisters under the age of 14.
Henderson lived across the street from where the girls were found and was taken into custody at her East 162nd Street home, where a search warrant was executed and 'substantial evidence' was found.
She has also been charged with endangering children, and a third child was found in her house and placed in the care of the Department of Children and Family Services.
If convicted, Henderson could face life in prison with the possibility of parole or even the death penalty if the charges are upgraded to aggravated murder.
