Actress Olivia Munn, a cancer survivor and advocate, learned she had Stage 1 breast cancer in April 2023 after a complimentary online questionnaire. Despite having a clear mammogram and ultrasound, Munn's risk score was 37.3%, prompting her to undergo a double mastectomy, ovariectomy, and partial hysterectomy.
Since sharing her cancer journey online, the number of women opting for the risk assessment test has surged by 4,000 percent, according to CBS News.
Munn credits her husband, comedian John Mulaney, and their two children, Malcolm and Mei Mei, for their unwavering support throughout her battle with breast cancer.
Mulaney, who married Munn in 2024, accompanied her to every doctor's appointment and took notes on cancer and hormone therapy, contributing to a positive atmosphere.
