Savannah Guthrie's mother, Nancy Guthrie, has been missing for nearly eight weeks after her abduction from her Tucson, Arizona residence.

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos has issued a new message to the kidnappers, urging them to 'just let her go'.

Nanos detailed the initial timeline of Nancy's case, which began when her family reported her missing on February 1, after she was last seen at her home on January 31.

Despite a $1 million reward and ongoing investigations, no suspect has been identified, and Nancy remains missing.

The sheriff stressed that he has no regrets about his team's efforts and that there is still a substantial amount of digital evidence being examined.
