A shooting was reported at the Triangle Town Center shopping mall in Raleigh, North Carolina, on Wednesday.
Raleigh police were seen on the scene, and the area was cordoned off with crime scene tape after the incident appeared to have taken place in the parking lot.
There's no information on what led to shots being fired, or on injuries or the suspect.
The mall has faced a series of safety incidents in the past, including a 2008 gang brawl and a 2022 accidental shooting.
The mall has also seen a decline in foot traffic, with several anchor stores closing, including Sears and Macy's.
