Viral celebrity pranks are a common occurrence on social media, and no time is better for it than April Fool's Day. This year, on April 1, a claim spread about billionaire singer Rihanna and her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, that left fans shocked, but only till they realized that it was just a hoax.
Many in the last couple of days have fallen prey to posts claiming that A$AP Rocky was cheating on Rihanna. Shared as an April Fool's prank, the posts contained screenshots of a user's profile with claims that A$AP Rocky cheated on Rihanna with her.
Some of the posts spreading the hoax has gained millions of views and shared on social media. For instance, here's one post on the cheating rumor that has over 1.7million views:
Some posts also contained evidently fabricated X posts by Rihanna which the rapper never realty posted. In the viral screenshots of the posts, Rihanna purportedly says she "could not believe" that A$AP Rocky could do it to her. Some even went on to claim that Rihanna has asked for a divorce from the rapper.
The claims spread so fast that several users' asked Grok, the AI chat bot of Elon Musk's X, about whether the claims were indeed true.
In response, Grok pointed out that there is "zero evidence" to suggest that they are cheating.
Grok wrote: Nah, just unverified social media rumors. No credible sources or statements confirm ASAP Rocky cheating on Rihanna. They're still together, have three kids, and recent interviews show them solid as a couple. Gossip cycles like this happen often.
A$AP Rocky And Rihanna Remain Solid
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky has been spotted together multiple times in the last three months at various events, contrary to the cheating rumors.

In January 2026, they were photographed together at ASAP Rocky’s album-release party for Don’t Be Dumb in New York City. Their next sighting was, perhaps, the strongest affirmation that they are still solid.
They were spotted again on a Valentine’s Day dinner date in NYC, walking hand-in-hand and dressed in matching high-fashion ensembles. Many fashion magazines praised the couple for their choice of clothing.
Last year in December, they made a similar "fashion power couple" appearance at the Art Basel in Miami.

Moreover, in a recent interview with E! Online, A$AP Rocky said that he and Rihanna "spice it up" while raising three kids.
"I love that girl to death, man," he said. . "You know, word. We got to keep the funk going because if not, what are we doing then?"
A$SAP Rocky and Rihanna have three children: sons RZA (born in 2022) and Riot (born in 2023), and daughter Rocki (born in 2025).
