Girnus' LinkedIn profile shows he is a senior threat researcher at Zero Day Initiative, with no connection to JPMorgan. Hajdini, on the other hand, has a clear career path within the company, starting as an intern.
Several people pointed out the impossibility of Girnus promoting Hajdini, given their different career paths and workplaces. A JPMorgan spokesperson also stated that the complaint against Hajdini had no merit, with internal investigations showing no wrongdoing.
