TODAY show host Savannah Guthrie has spoken out for the first time since her mother, Nancy Guthrie, was reported missing. Authorities believe she was taken from her home in Arizona on February 1.

Savannah has been seen on camera after her mother's kidnapping, but she had not spoken out about the case until now. In an interview with Hoda Kotb, she addressed the many speculations surrounding her sister, Annie Guthrie, and brother-in-law, Tommaso Cioni.

Both Annie and Cioni have been subjected to public scrutiny, with some suggesting they might be suspects in the case. However, the Pima County Sheriff's Department has clarified that none of the Guthrie family members are suspects.

Savannah defended her sister and brother-in-law, saying 'no one took better care of my mom than my sister and brother-in-law.' She noted that the thought of someone in her family being responsible for her mother's disappearance is 'unbearable and piles pain upon pain.'

Savannah also spoke about her brother Camron, who she said had worked with authorities to determine that her mother was kidnapped for ransom.
