A retired FBI agent has weighed in on how 'Today' show host Savannah Guthrie's interview and impending return to the NBC morning show could impact the investigation into her mother Nancy Guthrie's disappearance.
Retired FBI special agent Steve Moore spoke out during the March 29 episode of Brian Entin Investigates, stating that Savannah's recent interview and return to the show could be an indication that the investigation is not progressing right now.
However, Moore also believes that Savannah's return could spark new leads in the case, as it may persuade someone to come forward with information. A $1 million reward is being offered for any information that leads to Nancy's safe return.
Nancy was last seen just before 10 pm on January 31 after having dinner with her daughter Annie and son-in-law Tommaso Cioni. No suspect has been named in her disappearance yet.
