Senator Tim Sheehy (R-MT) joined Capitol Police in removing a protester from an Armed Services Subcommittee hearing on May 4, resulting in the protester, Brian McGinnis, hurting his arm.

McGinnis, a Marine veteran and Green Party candidate, was dressed in a Marine Corps Dress Uniform and shouted "no one wants to fight for Israel" while being escorted out.

Sheehy appeared to dislodge McGinnis' stuck hand from the door, leading to accusations that he broke it.

Capitol Police stated that McGinnis got his arm stuck in the door to resist officers and force his way back into the hearing room.

McGinnis was placed under arrest and transported to George Washington University Hospital, facing charges of assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest, and crowding.
