An earthquake of magnitude 4.1 struck west of Bandar Abbas in Iran on Saturday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
The earthquake occurred 74 kilometres west of Bandar Abbas and at a depth of 10 kilometres, USGS data revealed.
This comes as Iran faces heightened conflict with the United States and Israel, which began almost a week ago.
Overnight airstrikes between February 28 and March 1 claimed the life of Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Escalations continue, with several Gulf countries reeling under the probability of more strikes by US and Israel.
At least 1,230 people have been killed in Iran, more than 200 in Lebanon, and around a dozen in Israel, according to officials in those countries.
