Police in Shreveport are investigating a series of shootings that left eight children dead and others injured. The suspect, an adult male, died after a police pursuit that ended in nearby Bossier Parish.
According to authorities, the suspect allegedly carjacked a vehicle while fleeing the initial crime scene, prompting a chase that ended in gunfire. Officers opened fire after the suspect allegedly fired shots at multiple locations.
The incident unfolded across at least three locations, with investigators describing it as a domestic-related shooting spree. Ten people were shot in total, with eight children ranging in age from 1 to 14 killed.
