A 25-year-old Spanish woman, Noelia Castillo Ramos, has been granted permission to end her life through euthanasia due to years of physical pain, trauma, and worsening mental health.
In her final interview, Noelia expressed her unwavering decision, stating, 'I was very clear about it from the beginning.'
Her family, however, is torn apart by her choice, with her father, Geronimo, attempting to stop the procedure multiple times. Despite his efforts, Spain's Constitutional Court rejected his appeal in February 2026, paving the way for Noelia's euthanasia under the country's 2021 law.
