Viswas Raghavan, a high-profile banker, was poached by Citigroup for a whopping $52 million despite facing allegations of bullying and abuse at JPMorgan.
According to reports, Raghavan secured the role within three days, sparking controversy that has resurfaced in light of recent sexual abuse allegations involving another JPMorgan executive.
The allegations against Raghavan include years of bullying JPMorgan staff, with reports of him calling juniors 'a waste of calories' and labelling them as 'ignorant' and 'inadequate.'
Raghavan, who is now the head of banking and executive vice chair at Citi, has a long list of qualifications, including a degree in Physics from the University of Bombay and an honorary doctorate from Aston University.
