Residents of Sussex shared alarming videos of a likely supercell over Waukesha County on social media, with many saying they're 'stuck in basements' due to severe weather and tornado warnings from the National Weather Service.
A severe thunderstorm warning covers parts of southeastern Wisconsin until 7:15pm CDT Tuesday, with damaging winds of up to 60 mph and hail as large as tennis balls expected.
The warning affects areas including Hartland, Pewaukee, and parts of Menomonee Falls near Brookfield, as well as Hartford and Germantown.
