Teen Shot Near DC Waterfront Metro, Police Presence Heavily Deployed

A teenager was injured in a shooting Saturday night, April 18, near the Waterfront Metro in Washington D.C.

The victim, shot in the 300 block of M Street, Southwest, is conscious and breathing, according to WUSA 9.

First District officers responded to the report of a shooting around 9:05 pm and transported the teenage male to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

A video shared on X shows heavy police presence in the area, including the DC Police, Metro Transit Police, and the National Guard.
