A shooting broke out in a Home Depot parking lot in Bastrop, Texas, on Wednesday afternoon. The suspect, 25-year-old Kobe Lee Mosser, is in custody after firing an AR-15-style rifle indiscriminately.

According to the Bastrop Police Department, officers were called to the scene at 3:49pm after reports of an active shooter. Deputies from the Bastrop County Sheriff's Office and other agencies arrived at the scene, and Mosser was taken into custody quickly by Officer James Hill.

No injuries were reported, and the police chief praised the response as 'rapid, coordinated, and professional.' Witnesses described the scene as chaotic, with people screaming and running.
