A massive explosion and fire have shaken Nacogdoches County, Texas, near the unincorporated community of Etoile. Authorities have confirmed the blast at an oil well site, with multiple first responders arriving on the scene.

According to the Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office, all workers at the site have been safely accounted for and evacuated. However, residents along County Road 561 are being evacuated as a precaution.

The location of the explosion is along the 15000 block of FM 226, just north of Etoile. Efforts are underway to assess the situation and determine the cause of the explosion.

Shocking videos of the scene have surfaced on social media, showing the sky lighting up in orange flames. The community of Etoile is located in East Texas, near the Angelina and Attoyac rivers, and is known for its lake recreation opportunities.
